Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi

If you are able to access a copy of this book, get your hands on it! I borrowed it from the library, which is now closed indefinitely, so I have a copy on hand that I may be rereading very soon. This book follows the story of two half-sisters from Ghana - one is sold into slavery, and the other marries a British colonist. The chapters alternate telling the stories of their family line as it leads to modern times. Incredibly written, powerful, incredible story.
